One of the main things that people are feeling particularly at this time in world history, whilst we are in the midst of the COVID 19 virus, one of the things people are finding is that huge change in normal routine. So many people spent lots and lots of time on their own, by choice. Whether they travel to work, went to work, did stuff with work, they spent a lot of time on their own, and what was able to happen them was the freedom that they chose. So whatever it was, whether they got to eat what they wanted, they got to partake of their particular favourite indulgence, whether that’s smoking or drinking or food treats, or maybe it was illicit drugs for you. Maybe it was recreational drugs, maybe it was something else, you know, you’ve got to do any other addiction, your porn addiction, your gaming addiction, people got to do all the things that they wanted to do that was important to them. If we talk about that stuff in terms of addictions, people got to go out and do what they needed to do to feed those addictive behaviours, those addictive thoughts – without being questioned.
Now that people are in lockdown, the real trauma and the real problems for people are when they are feeling constantly watched. They are constantly feeling questioned, because they in amongst a family, they’re in lockdown. They’re hanging out with people who they don’t necessarily always spend a lot of time with.
Things have shifted and changed.
So I’m going to do some tapping with you, to help you in those moments when you feel like you’re being questioned. You’re constantly being watched, you’re under the microscope, and that hard stuff to work your way through. I remember those days for me and it was it was tough. I like my freedom. I like coming and going without feeling being questioned. I get it.
